1) I removed sunspot from visit-build-open and visit-install-open since
   we were no longer supporting it because the compiler was too old. I
   removed sunset from visit-build-closed and visit-install-closed since
   we were no longer supporting it because the compiler was too old.

2) I modified build_visit so that it added -DH5_USE_16_API to the CFLAGS
   and CXXFLAGS so that it would build with hdf5 1.8.
