1) I rebuilt the third party libraries for 2.10 on ubuntu1104_64. I also
   enhanced the open build script to build both with and without mesa
   versions of the distribution.

2) I modified build_visit on the 2.10RC to use the 2.10RC branch instead
   of the trunk.
