1) I fixed a problem where "Open As" was failing on VTK files that did
not have approved VTK extensions.  The VTK reader was faulty ... it
assumed that there was a valid VTK extension.

2) I limited the number of times the "You must re-open to make these
changes take effect" when changing the material attributes to two.  The
second time, it modified the statement to say that it is going to stop
issueing the warning, but that you need to keep re-opening.

3) If you put a command like "rotx 90" in the command window and then
clicked "Apply", nothing happened.  Now it takes the command.
