Kathleen found a bug with the new session dialog on Windows. · 21a78e19
      camp authored
The session dialog did not handle the Windows file name with a drive letter in it.
It turns out the QualifiedFilename::SetFromString function did not handle this.
Kathleen pointed me to the FileFunctions::SplitHostDataBase function that would do the job and was Windows safe.
So now the QualifiedFilename::SetFromString uses the FileFunctions::SplitHostDataBase to break up the string.

      1) I made a number of changes to image saving. These include:

         - Overhauling the save window options in the GUI. The standard save and
advanced multi-window save tabs have been removed and replaced with an
aspect ratio and resolution section and a multi-window save section. The
aspect ratio, resolution and screen capture controls have been moved
into the aspect ratio and resolution section. The tiled and advanced
multi-window save controls have been moved into the multi-window save
section. The stereo control has been moved into the format options
           section.
         - Modifying advanced multi-window image saving to initialize the background
           to white.
         - Modifying the viewer to take into account the save tiled and advanced
multi-window save settings when setting the image width and height.

         These changes resolve #2330.

      2) I added a QSixCharLineEdit class to QNarrowLineEdit.h.

I have added a new dialog that uses the open data base dialog to implement the changes.
I have added new RPC messages to send the session file contents back and forth to the
      mdserver.

I also remembered to update the release notes.

I enhanced the "XRay Image" query to support outputting the bounds
of the ray bundle to a VTK file to aid in verification of the setup
of the rays. The rays will be output to the file "ray_bounds.vtk".
The setup can be verified by adding a Mesh plot of "mesh" from the
file "ray_bounds.vtk" to the object to be ray traced. Outputting the
bounds of the ray bundle is controlled with the "output_ray_bounds"
setting to the query from the command line interface and with the
"Output ray bounds" setting in the graphical user interface. This
      resolves #2290.

I enhanced the "XRay Image" query to support output file familying. When
file familying is enabled the output files are named outputXXXX.YY.EXT,
where XXXX is the family number, YY is the bin number, and EXT is the
output file type extension. Furthermore, when file familying is enabled,
the query will not overwrite existing files. When file familying is
disabled, the output file outputYY.EXT will be overwritten each time the
query is run, consistent with the previous behavior. File familying is
controlled with the "family_files" setting to the query from the command
line interface and with the "Family output files" setting in the graphical
user interface. The default when using the command line interface is for
file familying to be disabled and for file familying to be enabled when
using the graphical user interface. This resolves #2284.

      1) I updated the XRay Image query window in the GUI to use the new
view description and support the recently added background intensity
         parameter. This resolves #2280.

      2) I modified the image_pan parameter to the XRay Image query to no longer
truncate the values to integer values.
