1) I added a test for the existence of a prototype for the function strtof
   to configure and then used that result to decide whether to use it or
   strtod in vtkVisItDataReader.C.

2) I corrected a typo in my fix for visitpy/common/PyMapNode.C.

3) I updated the list of contributors.

4) I merged changes from the RC to the trunk that others have made.
