Replace many NULL and 0 occurances with nullptr · a855cab0
      Kitware Robot authored
This topic is the result of running clang-tidy to
modernize our usage of NULL and 0 to nullptr. It also
includes some manual and semi manual changes where
clang-tidy would not be expected to work (such as in
comments, or classes not compiled on this build)

There are definitely many comments and occurances that
this topic misses that we will need to fix over time.

      Remove assignment operator from octree_iterator. · d2785d14
      David Gobbi authored
      This is a follow-up to gerrit I3e5e8858d31f0711d49e0281adbfbd7c7b6e381e.
In that commit, I removed the assignment operator from octree_path
because it looked as though the only reason for a custom-defined
operator was to work around some const-related bugs in Visual Studio 6.
The octree_iterator class is a subclass of octree_path that had exactly
      the same issues.

      Remove assignment operator from octree_path. · 5d600bd9
      David Gobbi authored
There were rule-of-three warnings because octree path declared an
assignment operator but not a copy constructor. The code for the
assigment operators did exactly the same thing that a default assigment
would do, except there was a special "const" version that cast away
the constness of one member. However, when I removed this version,
there were no compiler errors, so perhaps it was there just to satisfy
an ancient compiler that could not handle "const" properly with templates.

ENH: Implement a 2-D quadtree version of the label hierarchy · 1656268d

for when pointsets all share the same Z coordinate.
ENH: Move octree node bounds out of the octree_node structure and
           into vtkLabelHierarchy::Implementation::LabelSet where it
belongs, as it is only there to accelerate the iterator
           BoxNode member.
ENH: Make octree nodes point to their direct parent and not the
tree top so it is possible to keep track of things like
the number of children below a level dynamically.
ENH: Adding a depth-first 3-D octree iterator that mirrors the
2-D quadtree version for testing and comparison to FULL_SORT.
The DEPTH_FIRST enum can be used to specify it.
