Python scripting issue in Paraview 5.7 when using StreamTracer tool
I'm trying to create a Python script started from the graphical interface of Paraview using Tools > Start Trace. I'm starting the workflow from a series of VTK files generated by an unsteady flow simulation on a tubular structure. All VTK files (one for each time step) are loaded in Paraview and I'm trying to use the StreamTracer tool in order to plot streamlines of the flow from a point source as seed type. When I stop the Trace (at the end of the workflow) and try to save and re-load the python script created, the workflow stops when calling the StreamTracer tool. This message appears in the python console:
Warning: In /home/../ParaView-v5.7.0/ParaViewCore/ServerManager/Rendering/vtkSMPVRepresentationProxy.cxx, line 277
vtkSMPVRepresentationProxy (0x55b00867a550): Could not determine array range.
The workflow is frozen at this stage. I have to say that saving the workflow in a *.pvsm format works fine, but I need to automate the workflow for a large number of cases and use python scripting. I searched the Web, but did not find an answer to my question.
I'm currently using a compiled version of Paraview 5.7 on a Linux platform.
Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you very much for your help.
Kind regards,
EmiS
