Final corrections for startup and getting started screens

From an e-mail to Utkarsh/Cory:
I think I would like Cory to change the Getting Started Guide, since that way his screen shots will match what we currently have. I have had two people try the actual startup screen procedure, and here are corrections from issues and problems that they had. One was Jeff, the other was someone who had never seen ParaView. I am starting ParaView from scratch. OK, having said that, here are corrections that we need for the release:
• Click on the Getting Started Guide. Start through this guide. Nothing on ParaView works! We either need to close the Startup Screen when the Getting Started Guide is opened, or allow ParaView to be active when the Startup Screen is active, or tell people in the Getting Started Guide to close the Startup Screen. • Starting ParaView once again from scratch to the Startup Screen, click on Example Visualizations. At this point, it is unclear what to do. Please either add a sentence at the top saying “Click on an example below”, or add an “Open button”. At the bottom, add text that says “This example visualizations dialog can be found in the Help menu” or some such verbiage. Add a button that gets the user back to the Startup Screen.
• Menus – change F1 to the ParaView Guide?
• Notes on the Getting Started Guide. o Once again, OK to go to 3 pages if needed. o Add a first section that shows the Edit/ Reset Session. Can be as simple as the Edit menu option only. Verbiage such as “At any time, you can reset ParaView with the Reset Session command. Possibly show the Undo button. My user found this by accident, and did use it. “You can also use the Undo icon to back up”. o Open – OK. Be sure that Example directory shows in open. It doesn’t for my Linux build, I assume that is my build issue. o Select Data Variables. Circle with orange the check box to check. OK to get rid of the sentences Before the data… and Loading fewer… o Apply Data – OK. o Interact with 3D View. Add one line, with an Icon, for the Reset. Something like “Reset the view with the Reset command”. o Animate the data – OK o Apply a Color Map – Circle the drop down menu in Orange. o Add Vector Glyphs – OK o Save Screenshot – OK. You can compress this if desired – maybe get rid of everything below Save Screenshot? o Get additional help – OK.
