Explicit changes to color map are not captured unless all color map changes are traced
This issue was created automatically from an original Mantis Issue. Further discussion may take place here.
When performing a Python trace, unless the "Fully trace supplemental objects..." option is enabled, the trace ignores applying the default color map, which is what you would expect. However, if I explicitly change the color map, I expect that to be captured in the trace, but it is not. To replicate, do the following:
- Tools -> Start Trace
- In the Trace Options dialog, leave the "Fully trace supplemental objects..." option unchecked, and click OK.
- Create a Mandelbrot source. Apply.
- Open the Color Map Editor.
- Click the Choose preset button and select another color map.
- Tools -> Stop Trace
In the resulting script, the change of the color map is not captured. Since it was explicitly set by the user, shouldn't it be captured?
If you repeat the above instructions but check the box in step 2, the trace captures setting both the default color map and then the user-selected color map, which is expected.
