Cannot rescale colormap if data set originally had -inf in range (works in 3.98.0)
This issue was created automatically from an original Mantis Issue. Further discussion may take place here.
The attached file has some regions that are -inf. This, of course, confuses the color map. In version 3.98.0, if you threshold the data from -1e10 to 1e10 and then color by the Pressure1 variable and rescale, the color map rescales itself based on the new, thresholded range (which is smaller than this whole range).
Version 4.1 does not rescale properly, and you can't even edit the color map range by hand by turning off the auto-scale and selecting a custom range. Rather, you can but it doesn't change the mapping at all. It seems like the original problem with the -inf cannot be overcome by changing the range.
The work-around is to run the calculator and make another data set from the thresholded data with a different name; you can then color by that one and things work normally.
