deactivate (gray out) the show scalar bar and rescale buttons when showing solid color
This issue was created automatically from an original Mantis Issue. Further discussion may take place here.
When drawing an object with a solid color, it does not make any sense to show the scalar bar, yet that button is active, and when you press it, ParaView does something stupid. Likewise, the rescale button should be deactivated for solid colors as well.
To reproduce:
- Create a Cylinder Source. Apply.
- Scroll down and click the "Show" button in the Color group.
If no scalars have ever been shown, you get this nonsensical error: "Arguments to pqLookupTableManager::setScalarBarVisibility cannot be null". It looks like if scalars have been shown before, then it will toggle a scalar bar for some previously shown scalars but not shown now. As far as I can tell, the rescale button does nothing, but it may be rescaling some other variable not being shown.
