    1. handle API changes in QVTKOpenGLWidget, QVTKOpenGLNativeWidget.
2. on macOS use QVTKOpenGLNativeWidget, on Windows and linux we
   QVTKOpenGLWidget. This makes it possible to support active stereo
   (quad buffer based stereo) on linux/windows.
