Files opened with double-click not recorded in test
This issue was created automatically from an original Mantis Issue. Further discussion may take place here.
Whenever you open a file in the file browser using a double-click (which I habitually do), no pqevent corresponding to the MainWindow/FileOpenDialog is recorded. To repeat, do the following:
- Select Tools -> Record Test
- Select Files -> Open
- In the file dialog box, navigate to a file under PARAVIEW_DATA_ROOT and double-click on one of the files.
- Accept the resulting pipeline object.
- Click "Stop Recording" to finish the test file.
- Open the test file in a text editor. Note that the pqevent tag containing the file name is missing.
If you repeat by clicking OK rather than double-clicking a file in step 3, the filename is properly recorded in the test file. If you run the test file, it fails to load the data.
On a related note, if you navigate directories by clicking on the directory and clicking OK to descend into the directory, then each directory you select is recorded to the test file. If you try to run that, you get errors.
