(MARS-normal) CTH reader does not handle missing files gracefully

This issue was created automatically from an original Mantis Issue. Further discussion may take place here.

If the CTH reader attempts to read a dataset that's missing a file (when running in parallel), the user is not given any error besides a cryptic vtkInformation error, and the server promptly dies at that point as well.

The missing file error is reported in the server output, but that doesn't seem to make it to the client.

It would be nice if the missing file error was reported back to the client, and if the server did not crash when it encountered a missing file.

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
