undo/redo with animation doesn't work right

(*) means undo step created
- create a sphere
- add a keyframe for center(0) go to index 1 *add another keyframe go back to index 1
- change time to 0.5
- change value to 1
Hit undo and instead of changing the value back to 0, it removed a keyframe. hit undo again, and it removes all keyframes. hitting redo twice doesn't give you back the same stuff. Also, shutting down at this point gives a segfault.
compare:
- create a sphere
- add a keyframe for center(0) *add another keyframe
- change value to 1
hit undo and value goes from 1 to 0. hit undo and middle keyframe is removed hit undo and all keyframes are removed that works as expected
I get the same problem whether I do the above with the new animation GUI.
