Too much spacing in GUI

This issue was created automatically from an original Mantis Issue. Further discussion may take place here.

In general, the spacing in the object inspector seems to big. The spacing amongst GUI components should be a bit tighter to fit more in limited real estate. Also, the indentation imposed by groups seems too big. If the "title" of each group had a subtle coloring, the indentation within the group could probably be reduced to zero.

The spacing is particularly bad in the object inspector for the stream tracer filter.

This bug is related to #3630 (closed). However, I'm afraid that #3630 (closed) is too general to be effective for specific GUI issues such as this.
