Extra lines shown for 'Surface With Edges' on Mac
On my MacBook with an M3 Chip, when showing Surface With Edges
, the display will show additional lines, as if it is showing the actual triangles that the GPU renders. Below is a screenshot of what a Wavelet source looks like on my Mac. The diagonal lines should not be there. Those lines will come and go as I rotate the data.
To reproduce, create a Wavelet source and render with Surface With Edges
.
If you do Wavelet -> Extract Surface -> Generate Surface Normals -> Surface With Edges, then it looks normal.
@cory.quammen mentioned that this is likely a problem with normal estimation code in GLSL shaders.
