Legend attached to nothing can not be removed
Ubuntu 20.04, PV 5.12.0
I combined two states by opening one and then another from PV. The two states shared some elements so I deleted the duplicates using the new "Delete Downstream Pipeline" tool
Two of the objects I deleted were .vtpc files created from an original exodus file. The other objects were either text files with a Table to Structured grid or Table to Points filter attached or ascii legacy vtk files. I was left with a feral vtkBlockColours legend which should only come from one of the .vtpc files. I made sure that nothing was visible from either of those objects but could not remove the legend. I turned visibility for all objects off - same thing. I deleted all the objects using the "delete Downstream Pipeline" option so I had nothing in the Pipeline Browser but still had a legend!
I saved the state after deleting everything and attach it here. I see the vtkBlockColours in there but there also appears to be most of what was originally there as well so it may not help you.nothing.pvsm Closing PV and opening again with nothing.pvsm still gives me a legend.
I'm guessing that the issue has something to do with appending two states containing an partial overlap of identical objects and then deleting one of the duplicates???
