Saving Macro leaves empty window on screen

When saving a macro, an empty box is left onscreen. This is confusing and possibly causing issues.

  • MacOS, nightly (5.9.1-1808-gdb1698b0), builtin server.
  • Tools/ Start Trace.
  • Sources/ Wavelet. Apply.
  • Tools/ Stop Trace.
  • File/ Save As macro. Lets call it DeleteMeB. OK. It will save as DeleteMeB.py.

We now have a small window on top that should not be there. Further, if you move to another screen, the real editor will go behind ParaView, and this rogue little window will stay on top. This is confusing. Closing it brings the real editor to the forefront. Closing that does what is expected.

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
