GenerateGlobalIds fail to identify duplicated distributed points

GenerateGlobalIds fails to identify duplicated distributed points and do not give them the same values.

Steps to reproduce:

  • mpirun -np 2 ./binpvserver
  • run paraview, connect to server
  • Sphere, Apply,
  • GenerateGlobalIds, apply
  • Color by GlobalPointIds
  • There is a discontinuity, there should not be
  • Select a duplicated point on the discontinuity, show selected element in spreadsheet, GlobalPointIds are indeed different, they should be the same
