Incorrect display of higher-order lagrange cells with Paraview 5.9
With Paraview 5.9, I'm experiencing issues with higher-order Lagrange cells that haven't been there in Paraview 5.8. Some of this seems to depend on the version of the VTK Python package the files are created with.
I've attached 4 files here: paraview5.9_bugreport.zip They are basically 2 different examples, one is an unstructured grid of order-2 hexahedra and the other an unstructured grid of order-4 prisms. One set of files was generated by me from Python using the vtk Python package version 8.1.2 and the other one using the more recent version 9.0.1.
With Paraview 5.8: All files look fine
With Paraview 5.9:
- hexa order 2 mesh from vtk 8.1.2: fine
- hexa order 2 mesh from vtk 9.0.1: totally broken
- prism order 4 mesh from both vtk versions: interior seems slightly broken, choose the
electricField$refield, Y component and apply a clip filter (maybe move that one a little). Small graphical glitches appear.
I'm not sure if this also affects VTK but decided to post it here since it heavily depends on the Paraview version.
