Add ability to paint color legend with discrete colors for continuous color map

Please add the ability to paint the color legend with discrete colors, and optionally allow users to use a continuous color map.

The example I present had me make two copies of the data, with the Calculator filter. Then, I changed the same variable to display two different ways (8 table values and 256 table values). Then, I showed the 8 value color legend, but turned opacity to 0.

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
