ParaView 5.8 crashes when slicing nested multi-block in parallel

Creating the first slice works fine, but ParaView crashes as soon as I interactively drag the slicing plane. My dataset is a nested multi-block with empty blocks except one block, which is an Unstructuredgrid. I have extracted a very small version of the data to use as a reproducer.

untar the file and load in parallel (2 pvserver tasks are enough to crash)
