RedistributeDataset filter has issues with partitioned datasets

  • open can.e.4.* using the IOSS reader, load just the block_1, apply
  • create RedistributeDataSet filter (the D3 replacement), number of paritions = 2, and check "preserve partitions in output".
  • you;ll see somethign like this:

that's incorrect.

If you apply RedistributeDataSet after MergeBlocks the issue goes away.
