Automated remote connection via pvsc fails due to missing interpreter using fish shell
@mwestphal Helped me setup the pvsc file on my mac: https://discourse.paraview.org/t/problems-with-using-osascript-for-remote-rendering-via-pvsc/4095.
I now get this error in the terminal that is opened:
/var/folders/ck/bwzqcv_s1pz1t9fc86731shh0000gq/T/tmp.NZcT3vap ; exit;
Failed to execute process '/var/folders/ck/bwzqcv_s1pz1t9fc86731shh0000gq/T/tmp.NZcT3vap'. Reason:
exec: Exec format error
The file '/var/folders/ck/bwzqcv_s1pz1t9fc86731shh0000gq/T/tmp.NZcT3vap' is marked as an executable but could not be run by the operating system.
The contents of the file are
> cat tmp.NZcT3vap
/usr/bin/ssh ptb@petaca /opt/paraview/run-petaca-pvserver.sh 5.8.0 1 50571;pid=`ps -o ppid= -p $PPID`; ppid=`ps -o ppid= -p $pid`; kill -2 $ppid; exit
To be run by the operating system, it needs an interpreter. Adding one allows the file to run. The corrected file:
> cat tmp.NZcT3vap
#!/bin/sh
/usr/bin/ssh ptb@petaca /opt/paraview/run-petaca-pvserver.sh 5.8.0 1 50571;pid=`ps -o ppid= -p $PPID`; ppid=`ps -o ppid= -p $pid`; kill -2 $ppid; exit
