Picking rotation center should snap to the nearest mesh element.

I'm working with meshes consisting exclusively of edges, such as this one: mesh.vtk.

It seems very difficult to use the 'Pick Center' tool with such meshes - you have to hit the edge with mouse cursor very precisely, otherwise operation fails. Or, sometimes, it appears to succeed, however it selects a point at some random depth, not on the mesh surface.

Would be possible to change 'Pick Center' to snap to the nearest mesh element, instead of silently failing when the mouse click misses mesh by a pixel?

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
