AnimationView mode has incorrect behavior when loading a dataset with timesteps

AnimationView mode does not seem to behave correctly when loading a dataset with timesteps.

How to reproduce :

  • Open ParaView
  • View -> AnimationView
  • Open can.ex2, Apply
  • mode is set to "Snap to time steps", this is expected
  • set mode to "RealTime", play animation
  • Animation play as it was in sequence, BUG.
  • set mode to sequence, then set mode to back to RealTime, and play animation
  • Animation now plays correctly in Real Time
  • Add a clip filter, Apply
  • mode is back to "Snap to time steps", unexpected.
