Stream tracer not tracing streamlines from each point in source
I am using the 'Stream Tracer with Custom Source' filter to trace streamlines from a custom source, sphere.vts. The input is field.vts. It is only generating streamlines from select points in sphere.vts. I want it to generate streamlines from all points in sphere.vts.
In the screenshot the sphere is represented as green points, and the streamlines are in white. I used Runge-Kutta 2, and set Surface Streamlines on. All other properties of the 'stream tracer with custom source filter' are default.
If I do not set Surface Streamlines to on, the number of streamlines generated is much lesser. Also, Runge-Kutta 2 generates more streamlines than Runge-Kutta 4-5.
