Paraview crashes when starting catalyst

Using latest master branch with paraview-superbuild (5.5-RC1). Catalyst->connect->[ok] creates a SEGFAULT. I am using openSUSE Leap 42.3

I cout'ed the variable "submenu" and it is 0 just before the crash.
