PARAVIEW_INSTALL_DEVELOPMENT_FILES for MacOS
Hello,
As noted in the documentation of ParaView, the PARAVIEW_INSTALL_DEVELOPMENT_FILES
CMake flag is not supported on Mac OS. I was wondering if it would be possible to make this also work on Mac OS.
I am aware that the build directory provides all the files one needs to do development with the ParaView libraries, but I still have a use case where I want to distribute a ParaView + development files package. In my case, users need to compile code that is linked to the ParaView libraries (through Catalyst), and need therefore access to the development files. Asking them to build ParaView from source would be inconvenient.
On Linux it works great. I simply pack the make install
directory, which contains the development files and users can just unpack this, and it works. I would like to have the same convenience for Mac OS users.
Cheers,
Ahmad
