Black rendering bug on Windows

We are seeing a black rendering bug on Windows. Open ParaView, possibly load some data, some or all of the screen is black.

This bug is hidden by turning FXAA off (Edit/ Settings/ Render View/ Enable FXAA).

I cannot replicate this on my workstation.

My user has replicated. He is willing to help Kitware. If desired, ask me for his name. (Note to self - John Big.) Here is what he gave me:

Windows 10, Kitware binaries (after I added default-servers.pvsm), 5.4.0, remote server. Upon startup, there is a black rectangle in the lower left of the screen. My user loaded a multi file dataset. All of the screen then goes black. Repeatable. Removing configuration files did not resolve it.

Adding a picture of his screen.

Ken Martin (at Kitware) has also replicated. I believe this is the same issue. Here is Ken's comments:

I have seen this with ParaView 5.4 on one of my 3-4 year old laptops. I have to turn off the nvidia chip so I am using the Intel GPU to see the issue. For me it impacts all rendering, not just volumes as some have reported. As soon as I startup PV 5.4 I get the black box in the corner where the axis actor is positioned.
