Make fails in call to InitializeObjectBase()
Hello, and I apologize in advance if this report is inappropriate.
I'm trying to build Paraview in desktop (Debian Stretch) and I'm having an error while building. I don't know anything about C++ but the context suggest me is a problem with the code, not a dependency issue.
The relevant lines are:
/home/XXX/Paraview/source/ParaViewCore/Common/vtkClientServerInterpreterInitializer.cxx: In static member function ‘static vtkClientServerInterpreterInitializer* vtkClientServerInterpreterInitializer::New()’:
/home/XXX/Paraview/source/ParaViewCore/Common/vtkClientServerInterpreterInitializer.cxx:46:6: error: ‘class vtkClientServerInterpreterInitializer’ has no member named ‘InitializeObjectBase’; did you mean ‘vtkObjectBase’?
o->InitializeObjectBase();
^~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
ParaViewCore/Common/CMakeFiles/vtkPVCommon.dir/build.make:86: recipe for target 'ParaViewCore/Common/CMakeFiles/vtkPVCommon.dir/vtkClientServerInterpreterInitializer.cxx.o' failed
make[2]: *** [ParaViewCore/Common/CMakeFiles/vtkPVCommon.dir/vtkClientServerInterpreterInitializer.cxx.o] Error 1
CMakeFiles/Makefile2:6201: recipe for target 'ParaViewCore/Common/CMakeFiles/vtkPVCommon.dir/all' failed
make[1]: *** [ParaViewCore/Common/CMakeFiles/vtkPVCommon.dir/all] Error 2
Makefile:149: recipe for target 'all' failed
make: *** [all] Error 2
Due to this being in ParaViewCore I assume it has little to do with build configuration (which I've made with ccmake). In any case, I append the CMakeCache.txt text, which I think is has all the configuration information CMakeCache.txt.
I've made a git pull from repo just a few hours ago and the make target is "Release". Git's fetch is pointed to git://paraview.org/ParaView.git
Thanks for this awesome piece of software and sorry if this kind of reports are misplaced in this repo.
Cheers,
Mauro
