Mac ParaView Crash while resizing window while waiting for Client Server Connection

RScreen_Shot_2016-10-06_at_9.16.37_AMeplicated with ParaView 4.3.1 and ParaView 5.1.2 in LAL environment. Launch ParaView with left click in the Dock. Click Connect, pick a remote supercomputer, ssh window pops up all will look well, then while waiting for supercomputer allocation resize the ParaView client GUI window, and it “crashes”. See attachment. That is the GUI disappears and the attached message “ParaView quite unexpectedly…” appears in a new window.

ParaView 4.3.1 on Linux appears to not crash, so all is well with linux.

We are having a problem getting windows tested, but are continuing to work on it.

I would very much like to document this for ParaView 4.3.1 and ParaView 5.1.2, and test to make sure it doesn’t happen in the head/ParaView 5.2.0 , I will start that gitlab process after sending this mail.

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
