Problems with Programmable Source created through Python script

This issue was created automatically from an original Mantis Issue. Further discussion may take place here.

Jean Favre reported on the paraview-developers mailing list that when the attached script is executed in ParaView, the VCR controls in the GUI do not update to reflect the time steps defined in the script. Manually changing the script in the GUI and clicking Apply will cause the VCR controls to update, but Jean reports that doing so can lead to a crash for him when playing the time series.

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
