Show Splash Screen setting state not reflected accurately in Settings dialog

This issue was created automatically from an original Mantis Issue. Further discussion may take place here.

Steps to reproduce:

  • Start ParaView
  • Open Settings
  • Enable Advanced view by clicking gear
  • Uncheck "Show Splash Screen"
  • Click OK. Quit ParaView
  • Start ParaView again
  • Note that there is no splash screen on startup
  • Open Settings

The "Show Splash Screen" checkbox will be checked, which is incorrect.

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
