Settings/ Geometry Mapper Options don't work

This issue was created automatically from an original Mantis Issue. Further discussion may take place here.

I think that the Geometry Mapper Options don't work, and/or are not even connected. Replicate as follows:

  • Master, Linux, local server.
  • Sources/ Sphere. Theta and Phi Resolution to 80. Apply.
  • Surface with Edges. <> There will be some lines that seem to dip below the surface. These occur on my monitor about 7:30, about half way from the center to the edge.
  • Edit/ Settings/ Advanced/ Render View. Change the z-shift range to a larger number (for instance, 1), Apply or OK. Sphere issues stay around. Close ParaView, restart. Sphere line issues stay around.
  • Edit/ Settings/ Advanced/ Render View. Change the z-shift range to a negative number (for instance, -1), Apply or OK. Sphere issues stay around. Close ParaView, restart. Sphere line issues stay around.

I assume this means that the z-offset isn't working?

I also tried Polygon Offset (Offset Lines and Points relative to Faces), and that didn't seem to do anything either.

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
