Settings/ Splash Screen is broken

This issue was created automatically from an original Mantis Issue. Further discussion may take place here.


Linux, master, local server. delete your ~/.config/ParaView files. Alternatively, run paraview -dr in the next step.

Run paraview. Notice that you see a splash screen. Edit/ Settings. Notice Disable Splash Screen is checked. This is incorrect. Uncheck Disable Splash screen. Exit, and restart ParaView. Notice there is a splash screen. This is correct. Check Disable Splash screen. Exit, and restart ParaView. Notice there is no splash screen. This is correct.

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
