mouse movement crashes 2d plots
This issue was created automatically from an original Mantis Issue. Further discussion may take place here.
There may be some randomness to replicating this bug, but here is how I have replicated it:
ParaView 3.8 branch, snapshot about a week ago. Linux build. Local client.
Here is the computer information: workstation01: uname -a Linux workstation01 2.6.18-194.el5 #1 SMP Tue Mar 16 21:52:39 EDT 2010 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
cat /etc/X11/xorg.conf: ... Section "Device" Identifier "Device0" Driver "nvidia" VendorName "NVIDIA Corporation" EndSection ...
Let me know if you cannot replicate this, and I will do a debug build.
ssh -X into the Linux box. I am using cygwin, I believe others have replicated without cygwin or ssh'ing into a linux box.
Open can.exo. All variables on, apply. (I actually rotated the can so I can see it, not sure if this matters.) Plot over line. Apply. Move the cursor right, across the 3d viewport and the can, onto the 2d window.
It has crashed 3 times out of 3.
