Within a few frames, the vector lengths are wrong. This is another case of the data ranges not being correct for all time. Frankly, I don't know what the correct answer is.

In the exodus reader, the data ranges, found on the Properties panel, as well as the Information panel, do not state that this is only for the current time step.
One idea for a solution would be as follows:
* On the Properties panel (on all readers), do not print out a ranges section. At the least, state that the data ranges are for the current time step.
* On the Information tab, print out the time step that produced this data range.

To make bugs easily noticeable in the spreadsheet view, I have set the block size of the data fecthed to the client to 10 rows. We need to fix this to something reasonable (say 1024) on the 3.2 branch.

I connect from my Windows machine to our linux cluster. I load some data and then try to save an animation with the Disconnect before saving animation.
Everything looks like it is working fine. The file browser is browsing the remote system. I can select a file name, the client disconnects, and the server tries to make the animation. However, the animation is never generated. Instead, it outputs an error and exits. The error is because the filename is bad because a C: is prepended to the filename.https://gitlab.kitware.com/paraview/paraview/-/issues/5633Support fast-path temporal plotting of edge/face variables2019-03-05T10:47:28-05:00Kitware RobotSupport fast-path temporal plotting of edge/face variables**This issue was created automatically from an original [Mantis Issue](http://paraview.org/Bug/view.php?id=5633). Right now you can do "fast-path" temporal plots (plot cell/point/field over time) if the respective filter is connected directly to the exodus reader. This should also work if D3 is in between the reader and plotting filter. I think D3 only needs to be aware of the convention and pass the data through.
