When using the selection mechanism, one cannot select points or surfaces is paraview uses a tiled display.

I am using Paraview to visualize VTK/VTS files. Sometimes when I open certain files, the program crashes on a segmentation fault when I click "Apply"/"Accept".
Paraview is able to show the list of fields included in the file corerectly before it crashes.
This happens for the same input files on both Windows and Linux versions of Paraview.
An example problematic input file is attached.
The files are created by a finite-element package called Underworld.

When I run Paraview in MPI mode, the client side plugins are loaded but the server side plugins are not.
This does not cause Paraview to crash immediately, unless a user tries to use a custom filter or reader. For example, if they try to use a filter, it will appear in the list of filters (because the client plugin loaded) but upon clicking the filter will cause paraview to crash (because the server plugin was not loaded)
I can load the server plugins manually, but as I have about 30, I do not want to do this. My other option is to put them in build/bin/debug/plugins but this is undesirable.https://gitlab.kitware.com/paraview/paraview/-/issues/7605Mars medium - Feature: rename the column headers for CSV files2019-03-05T10:44:15-05:00Kitware RobotMars medium - Feature: rename the column headers for CSV files**This issue was created automatically from an original [Mantis Issue](http://paraview.org/Bug/view.php?id=7605). It would be useful if the color map had an option to automatically adjust to the data range of the currently displayed color map. The option would require a suitable warning that the colors drawn can be misleading. The option can be useful when you are using a color map to look at the location or relative maximums and minimums, and don't care about concrete values that each color represents.
It would also be useful if we could add a mechanism whereby the complete data ranges over all time can be used to set the color table ranges. This would color the data correctly and at the same time not "range out". True this can be done manually, but when the number of arrays gets large, doing it manually is not feasible.
The complete range would often be too expensive to compute automatically, but if the simulation produces those values as meta data, they could be used to set up decent initial values. I think that if the reader forces them into vtkDataArray's per component range info keys it will propagate and work for most cases when automatically rescale is turned off.
This was a request from Jim's group at LANL.

Enable to color key, then switch color by to some other array. The color key is suddenly disabled. It stays off even when you switch back to the original array.
It would be easier (especially with many data arrays) if enabling the key made it stay enabled for that data set regardless of what array was being colored, and when you switch arrays the key is updated to show the currently active array.

The camera is not being properly set (or reset) when a 3D view is created with a redo action. To replicate, do the following:
1. Create any primitive object (e.g. Sources -> Cone) and Apply
2. Split the view either horizontally or vertically
3. With the new (blank) view selected, create another primitive object (e.g. Sources -> Cone) and Apply
4. Click the Undo button; the view goes blank as expected
5. Click the Redo button; the 3D view is recreated and the geometry put in it, but the camera is clearly not properly reset.
The errant behavior is associated with creating the 3D View.
