ENH:Updating viewPathTest Template

Robert M. O'Bara requested to merge bob.obara/smtk:updatingViewPathTestTemplate into master

Wanted to add a second level of discrete items with children to the extensible group - this showed a limitation in chaining widgetSizeChanged signals. This issue has been addressed in a release branch commit
