It would be nice if we can mention the superbuild in the top level readme.md since it's the simplest way to build smtk.current build [tutorial](https://gitlab.kitware.com/cmb/smtk/blob/master/doc/dev/build.md).

- [ ] compare built Python object versus class header

- [x] free functions

- [ ] docs on how to obtain/build the wrapper scripts

* [ ] I (john) will try to write a new test for the 37 mods

+ On master, the sphinx python API has changed causing failures due to (apparently) mismatched visit/depart calls. Specifically, in the docutils package, `site-packages/docutils/writers/_html_base.py` fails an assertion at line 671 because `self.context` (a list used as a stack for tracking the location of the parser in nested document elements) is supposed to be empty but is not. It is not empty because `visit_problematic()` and/or `visit_target()` have been called without a matching `depart_problematic()` or `depart_target()` call. This may be related to the `findFigure.py` extension SMTK and CMB use.
+ On the release branch, there are changes that need to be moved from master which fix other, unrelated issues.SMTK 2.0https://gitlab.kitware.com/cmb/smtk/-/issues/89Update mesh documentation2016-10-12T14:16:00-04:00T.J.
