Improve qtComponentItem

The UI for qtComponentItem should

• provide feedback showing entities as they are selected in the popup.
• provide a method to clear all the current entries in the popup.
• provide a method to populate its entries from the current selection.
• provide a method to show all its entries, preferably one that allows users to assign a highlight color.
