Priorities as of December 2020
User facing
-
Context dependent display properties (issue #9) -
Display all material properties independent of the current/selected analyses (issue #16) -
Make toolbar icons (block and sideset view) consistent with resource browser (issue #20?) -
Tabular view for specifying bodies, with columns for model entities, material, initial temp (Heat Transfer category), initial velocity (Fluid Flow category). In the future, the order of rows will be important. (from issue #21 (closed)) -
Inclusion of prescribed geometry, e.g. sphere or inside surface of sphere. More discussion needed. (from issue #21 (closed)) -
We need a way to specify which materials to include in the input file (more than those assigned to element blocks). Could be as simple as adding a flag (checkbox) to each material attribute. For now all materials in the attribute resource are included. -
Replace current void-material implementation (using 2 dropdown boxes) with single dropdown (from issue #27) -
Color of material selection label in body assignment not updated promptly (issue #28) -
Simplify install and update procedures (needs further enumeration) -
Add validity checking to smtkTruchasCoilsView (issue #17) -
Live plots of property functions -
Set default value for Dt_grow depending on analysis selection -
Add Greek letters/symbols where applicable to item labels (issue #7)
#21 (closed))
Other priorities (from issue-
More documentation for workflow authors -
Numerous "fontconfig" errors when starting modelbuilder. => 200614 build used ENABLE_fontconfig but that did not resolve the issue. (per issue #23, not sure there is anything we can do about this.) -
Update the "save materials" feature to only save currently-selected attributes -
Update the "load materials" feature to automatically resolve attribute name conflicts -
ItemView to display radio buttons for discrete items -
Add an easy way to replace the mesh (.gen file), using exodus ids to reconnect attributes. -
Support multiple discretizations of the same model.
