No warning if tests define resource groups and no resource spec file provided
If no resource spec file is given to ctest
but at least one test defines resource groups, one could argue that those tests should fail because the resources won't be satisfied. At the moment, ctest
ignores the resource groups completely when no resource spec file is given. If we make this fail instead, we can provide a ctest
command line option like --ignore-resources
or --ignore-resource-groups
to still give the user the ability to ignore resource group requirements.
We may want to consider this for the 3.16.0 release to avoid having to add a policy to change the default behavior later.
