find_package does not search <prefix>/<name>*/(lib/<arch>|lib*|share)/<name>*/(cmake|CMake)/ on Ubuntu (incorrect documentation)
the following search path: <prefix>/<name>*/(lib/<arch>|lib*|share)/<name>*/(cmake|CMake)/
is not actually valid (running Ubuntu 16.04), and cmake will be unable to find relevant .cmake files.
<prefix>/(lib/<arch>|lib*|share)/<name>*/(cmake|CMake)/
works as expected.
I'm producing this issue by running a bazel build that in turn calls cmake, I unfortunately cannot offer the source code so you can reproduce, but it should be fairly straightforward to replicate on another package.
cmake version: 3.12.2
