Option to automatically clean up temporary files from configuration
Hello,
during confiuration, CMake will generate various files in CMakeFiles/<version>
, only a few of them are necessary and checked for the remaining invocations.
For every language, subfolders will be created and some further binaries will end up in the directory, all of these can be deleted without side-effects (to my understanding).
My proposal would be to** automatically delete all those unneeded files**, which just served to create one of the few used files in this directory. The reason this affects me, is because I use CMAke together with Eclipse, and this IDE will automatically list all binaries it can find. Typically for me, these are 5 "fake" entries around the single relevant executable.
Some other features like starting a debug session, also work alot better if a single executable is automatically picked up.
