--help-policy output is misleading/confusing
This policy was introduced in CMake version 3.0. CMake version 3.8.2 warns when the policy is not set and uses OLD behavior.
Well, naturally I read this to mean that CMake version 3.0 up until 3.8.2 had the policy but did not warn when the policy was not set, with the warnings only being issued by CMake 3.8.2 and later. But that turns out to be totally incorrect! Apparently the text above will always reflect the current CMake version you're running, like so:
This policy was introduced in CMake version 3.0. CMake version CURRENT_CMAKE_VER warns when the policy is not set and uses OLD behavior.
So the text ends up horribly misleading/confusing. It ought to be reworded to something like the following:
This policy was introduced in CMake version 3.0. All versions of CMake that support the policy will use the OLD behavior when the policy is not explicitly set.
