infinite loop on alternating compiler change
cmake-loop.tar.gz contains a cmake project. I create a build directory in there and then run:
cmake .. -DCMAKE_CXX_COMPILER=/usr/bin/g++
This produces the following output over and over again:
System is unknown to cmake, create:
Platform/AVR to use this system, please send your config file to cmake@www.cmake.org so it can be added to cmake
-- Using minimal printf implementation
-- Configuring done
You have changed variables that require your cache to be deleted.
Configure will be re-run and you may have to reset some variables.
The following variables have changed:
CMAKE_CXX_COMPILER= /usr/bin/g++
Expected result: CMake gives up after a couple of runs.
Actual result: CMake loops indefinitely.
It would be nice to have a command line option to force cmake to never loop.
