CMake (v3.20.0) GUI locked after configure run for opencv on windows 10

After running configure on opencv v4.5.2, cmake-gui presents only the three text fields shown and no flags display. The preset dropdown has the "<custom"> selection. There are no CMakePresets.json files in the directories. Once the gui is locked as described, you can run the configure and/or generate command using the dropdown menus but you can never see the flags listing.2021-04-19_11-47-50

As is the norm these days, all developers (I am one) do not have admin privilege on the target machine and therefore must use cmake from the download without running any install. I have deleted the cmake folder and downloaded a new copy but the gui is forever locked as shown. I assume something has been written to the registry that is not cleared out.

I have had this happen on different machines but always when attempting to build opencv. The same problem happened before with Cmake v3.19.x; however, I have currently dropped back to Cmake v3.16.x with no problem.

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
